Mercedes sold 3.900 vehicles


MERCEDES-BENZ Malaysia (MBM) to sell 3.900 units of passenger and commercial vehicles in the first six months of this year, the best since it was established in the country.
Chief Executive Officer, Roland S Folger, said it was increased by 22.6 per cent compared with 3.182 units sold during the same period last year.
Clearly, the company last year recorded sales of 7,000 units involving total 5.003 1.967 units of passenger cars and commercial vehicles. "Based on the encouraging performance in the first half of this year, we are on track accurately create a new record in passenger and commercial vehicle sales, thus maintaining the as an industry leader in luxury passenger vehicles in the country, "he said at a press conference in Petaling Jaya yesterday. Folger said, to boost sales, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is striving to find new opportunities to strengthen its brand presence in the luxury car in the country, not only in the Klang Valley but throughout the country. "Our primary growth is in the Klang Valley as many customers based here. We are also targeting other locations in the east or south of the country, such as Iskandar Malaysia in Johor for the next growth phase.
